Firenze - Antonio Mannina sporting the Florentine DB blazer

My friend Antonio kindly put out some of his best stuff during my last visit in Florenc as the Suitorial obviously needs more outfits!
A classic getup, again with a more conservative, typically Florentine piece of tailoring, lacking front darts and with slightly extended, soft shoulders made from navy cavalry twill.
The close up shot shows very well the subtlety and neatness of the handwork, it is almost invisible from a small distance and has only a very limited function as decorum.
From personal experience I know that many older, conservative Florentine tailors usually never do double pick stitching for instance, with some charging extra if it is required by the client.
An intersting aspect to compare with the general tendency seen in Naples where most sportscoats and blazers come with a double row of pick stitching by default, preferably in a more visible "mezzopunto" manner (or something inbetween pointed "mezzopunti" and reversed pickstitching that is still more visible than a thin, totally reversed stitch like on Antonio's blazer).
